The Avalanche Guild owner Justin Goldman has proudly provided hockey fans throughout Colorado with in-depth Avalanche analysis on a weekly basis for the last four seasons on a variety of radio stations. But it all started the day before the NHL Lockout ended in June 2005, when Uncle Nasty gave him a chance to voice his opinions on the dreaded lockout and when it might come to an end.
As if fate had a hand in our future, the Lockout came to a miraculous end the following day, thus prompting Uncle Nasty to bring Justin back on the air to discuss the incredible events that took place over the previous 24 hours. From that moment on, Justin has been a staple on KBPI and the Uncle Nasty Show as the station’s official Avalanche informant.
Providing analysis just minutes before every single Avalanche game, Justin has had a number of different nicknames. He started off as The Hockey Nerd, then graduated to Five-Hole two years later. Finally, at the start of his third season on the air, Justin became known as Gloveside, due to his brilliant goaltending skills and mental powers.
Justin is currently in his fifth consecutive year of providing in-depth Avalanche analysis, so tune in 10-15 minutes before every single game to get pumped up and caught up on your Avalanche.
